Terms of service
These terms of service apply to all quotes, agreements and services provided by Montage Vandaag ("we", "us", "the assembly service"). By submitting a quote request or making an assembly appointment with us, you agree to these terms.
1. Definitions
- Customer: the person submitting a quote request or making an assembly appointment.
- Assembly: assembling and/or wall-mounting IKEA products supplied by the customer.
- Quote: a written price estimate based on the supplied planner or order link and any photos.
2. Independent service
Montage Vandaag is an independent assembly service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorised by Inter IKEA Systems B.V. or any of its group companies. IKEA is a trademark of Inter IKEA Systems B.V.
3. Quote and formation of the agreement
- A quote is non-binding and valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
- The agreement is formed at the moment the customer accepts the quote in writing (by e-mail).
- Changes in scope after acceptance may lead to a new quote or additional work.
4. Customer obligations
- The customer delivers the products to be assembled complete, undamaged and at the agreed location.
- The customer ensures a safe, accessible working environment (free of obstacles, pets and valuables in the assembly zone).
- The customer informs the fitter about any known specifics of walls, floors, pipes and electrical wiring.
- Parking near the assembly location is arranged or reimbursed by the customer unless agreed otherwise.
5. Performance of the assembly
- We assemble only what is included in the quote.
- Work on plumbing, electrical, gas or structural elements is excluded unless explicitly included in the quote.
- We flag visible risks (e.g. missing parts, unsuitable walls) and report them immediately.
6. Cancellation and rescheduling
- Cancellation or rescheduling is free of charge up to 48 hours before the appointment.
- For cancellations or rescheduling within 48 hours we reserve the right to charge cancellation fees.
7. Payment
- Payment is made by bank transfer or iDEAL unless agreed otherwise.
- The payment term is 14 days from the invoice date.
- For late payment we are entitled to charge statutory interest and collection costs.
8. Liability
- We are liable for damage that is a direct consequence of our assembly, provided it is reported in writing within 7 days after the assembly.
- We are not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage or damage caused by defective or incomplete products supplied by the customer.
- Our liability is limited to the invoice amount of the relevant assignment.
9. Complaints
Complaints about the assembly must be reported in writing within 7 days of completion to oktayelipek@gmail.com. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve complaints within 14 days by mutual agreement.
10. Governing law
All agreements are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district where the assembly service is established.
11. Final provisions
If any provision of these terms is found to be void, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
