About us
Montage Vandaag
Small team, direct contact, careful assembly.
Montage Vandaag is an independent IKEA assembly service from Amsterdam. We are three assemblers. No call centre, no platform — you speak directly with the people doing the work.
Independent assembly service, not affiliated with IKEA.
Our story
Every job counts.
IKEA furniture is beautifully designed, but assembly takes time, patience and the right tools. Many people do not have those — or they do, but would rather not spend a weekend on a PAX wardrobe.
At the same time, finding an assembler who shows up quickly, is transparent about pricing, and leaves your home clean is harder than it should be. I started Montage Vandaag in March 2026 with exactly that in mind: an honest, small-scale assembly service where you talk directly to the assembler, the price is fixed up front, and quality does not suffer because of scheduling pressure.
Today we are a team of three assemblers based in Amsterdam, serving customers across the Randstad. We are small, we are new, and we are honest about both. Which means: every job counts.
Step by step
Where we stand
- March 2026Founded as a one-person shop
Oktay starts doing IKEA assembly in Amsterdam. First jobs: PAX wardrobes and small bathroom units, mostly word of mouth.
- Summer 2026Team of three
Two assemblers join. We can now handle full METOD kitchens and cover the entire Randstad area.
- NowBuilding our reputation
Collecting our first reviews on Trustpilot and Google Business Profile. Every customer helps us grow.
What we are not (yet).
A large, established company with hundreds of reviews or decades of experience. If that is what you are looking for, there are other providers — and that is fine.
What we are: a small team that takes IKEA assembly seriously, works with fixed prices, and leaves your home clean.
